Five Years...

Five years ago today, Blake and I went on our first date. A date that we waited a year to go on! :) You see, with a 6.5 year age difference, my dad was not super thrilled about us dating! "He is going to want to get married sometime in the near future" was always his response when it came up that we STILL liked one another. The Lord (and my mom) slowly softened Daddy's heart and on June 8, 2003 Blake took me to dinner at J. Alexanders... He had ribs and I had chicken parmesan.

Blake was my first boyfriend and my last. My first love and my only love... How gracious is our Lord. I love you Baby...
