Parent Dedication

While most churches have "baby dedication", Ninth and O often refers to the event as "parent dedication". Tonight Jeff Elieff prayed over the parents of about 10 children in our version of "baby dedication".

We call this event "baby dedication," but more accurately it should be entitled "parent dedication" because its the parents who are doing the dedicating. Tonight, Lydia and I made a dedication before the congregation (and more importantly God) to raise Riley in a home that honors the name of Christ Jesus.

Will was dedicated at the fall dedication last year, Riley this year... Perhaps we will make next years fall dedication as well(not an announcement)?!
