On November 13 Riley turned 4 months old! This past month has brought about the most drastic changes yet. Riley has blossomed into a sweet, good natured baby! She laughs often and most of the time at nothing! Blake and I love to watch the way she is already interacting with her big brother. Riley adores Will and just stares and watches as he plays. She lights up everytime he speaks to her... Will seems almost :) as crazy about her. We often find wet spots on her forehead or in her hair from his loving open-mouthed kisses. :) With Riley's easy going personality Blake and I have been a little surprised by her last few weeks in the nursery. Tears. Screams... I think all babies are there at some point, but we had certainly hoped for a few more months before seperation anxiety set in. At the same time, I think that we are both secretly happy that our precious little girl desires her mommy and daddy(or grammy and grandpa). Well, as you can tell from the photos below, we are no longer dealing with any low weight issues. :) In fact, Riley's weight and height are in the 90th percentile! She is 25 inches long and weighs 15 pounds 10 ounces. She is growing like crazy! What a blessing.
A Few Milestones:
Began cereal - She loves it and get so excited when she sees the bowl!
Rollsover - While it is not an every day occurance, it is not surprising to find her laying opposite of how I left her.
Long Naps - It has taken months for Riley to get on a predictable nap schedule, but we appear to finally be there! She is now sleeping about 3 hours in the afternoon - What a blessing!
Bubbles - Riley discovered just last week how to blow bubbles and it is her new favorite past time(which meant many more bibs necessary!)
