We woke up this morning a little before 7am(kids!) and were going about our morning... Before we knew it we found ourselves in the dark. NO POWER! I feel like we just did this(Hurricane Ike). We quickly got dressed and packed some clothes and essentials and dug out the van to go to mom and dads... As I write this post I am sitting in a home with Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, Mom, John(also has no power), Paul, and the Rings - That is 10 people who will be sleeping in this home tonight! :) Love the parents for being willing... It has already been a busy morning with one treck to Speedway for Coke Icees and a trip to Kroger. We are all enjoying spending time together and feel blessed that the opportunity was provided.
