A New Life

Considered that we are re-doing an entire house worth of rooms, we have to save money in our redecorating wherever we can! This is a hand-me down lamp... I wish I had a before photo. It was gold, hunter green, and sort of splattered black paint. I spray primed it and painted it white. Better, but it still needed something. The lamp was for Will's nautical themed room so I came up this - It cost about $3.50 to buy the twine. I hot glued the twine and "Wahalla"...A new life for this tired and outdated lamp! And a $3.50 project considering I had the primer and paint in the garage and the glue gun in my craft cabinet(never would have guessed I'd have one of those).
