When looking for a new home, a basement was on our "must have" list. We love many things about our new home, including the fact it has a basement; however, we weren't crazy about the 1980s look! Our December project is to give the basement a facelift. Our longterm plan is to replace all the furniture and flooring but the first phase of our project is providing a new paint job. Here are some "before" pictures. We hope to finish painting this week but sometimes things take longer than you anticipate. It has taken us two days to prime and caulk. The kiddos slow us down but assistance from Mimi has been a big help! A guess this is what vacations look like when you're a family man.
