God - The Adoption Architect
Last week in the Upper Room (the college-age worship service at Ninth & O), I taught on Galatians 4.1-11. This passage discusses how believers in Jesus Christ are adopted into God's family. Although I spoke on this passage once before, the text held a deeper, more colorful meaning in light of last year's adoption of Will. My love for my adopted son is vast, but it pales in comparison to God's love for me and other Christ followers. I'm grateful that my life experience with Will helps me to better understand God and His unfailing, endless love.
