Happy 2nd Birthday Riley

Dear Riley,

How time flies. You turn 2 today... And yet, I vividly remember the day you were born! Ok, no details. I will simply tell you that it was one of the best days of my life and the beginning of my love affair with your big personality self! :)

I can hardly believe how much you have changed this last year. Not the wonderful things that I love: your BIG personality, the ease with which you laugh, your easy going nature. You are so inquisitive - Constantly asking questions! Your brain must be growing alot.

But my how you have grown. You are tall - 90th percentile on the growth charts! - Must get that from your daddy! And you have hair! Alot of it considering what little you had last year!:) And your daddy's face... You have your daddy's face. It looks beautiful on you!

You have 2 parents who are talkers so it makes sense that you would be as well... And boy are you! :) You know about 10 animals(lions, elephants, zebras, dogs, cats, rhinos, birds, tigers, hippos, giraffes). You are beginning to recognize a few letters and numbers. Your favorite phrases right now are, "Come on", "Sit down", "Oh man", "Oh no", "What's this?"... A little bossy perhaps, but you are the first girl. I think that comes with the territory(speaking from experience). :)

We celebrated tonight with all your precious ones... Your daddy, brother, sister, mimi, papa, uncle john, and uncle paul. They adore you and made sure that you were the center of attention on your BIG day!

Your mommy and daddy are so proud of you Riley! You are precious to us beyond belief! Your smile lights up our days... Happy 2nd birthday Riley Lynn.
